This is a short film I made for the 800th anniversary of Molana. The scenario is based on Attar’s Seven Degrees of Wisdom. For each degree, I have chosen a color and on one side of the screen my daughter Maryam fills an empty house while on the other side, she empties it… It is very difficult to follow both images and sounds in two frames at the same time, and unfortunately it was only shown once in The Light Film Festival in Cambridge in 2009.
