Payam Mirtorabi was a young executive director in his father’s successful import-export firm in Tehran, and educated in the UK. His parents lived on the ground floor of the building while Payam lived on the top floor. Two years later we also renovated his parents’ apartment, but in a very classical style, while his was to become an ultra-modern and even hi-tech style.
After winning the second prize that year for Interior Architecture, our firm became known for interiors, whereas before we were more geared to architecture and landscaping.
